In the next few months, the best and brightest of Franklin Street will be presenting advanced healthcare marketing trends and best practices at regional conferences.

The Kentucky Society for Healthcare Public Relations and Marketing (KSHPRM) will host its Fall Educational Conference and Thoroughbred Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, November 13 in Louisville, KY.

Stephen Moegling, Executive VP of Account Planning, will be presenting at the conference. His talk, titled “Guruism, Age-spiration and DIY Health: What 2013 Consumer Trends Hold for Healthcare Brands,” will explore how five trends that are impacting healthcare marketing teams this year – plus two more to watch in the coming year.

Earlier that month (November 2nd, to be exact!), Kenya Gibson, Franklin Street’s Director of Client Services, will be speaking at the Illinois Society for Healthcare Marketing and Public Relations (ISHMPR).  Her topic, “Homer Simpson, Frasier Crane and the Fonz: Why Men are the Emerging Healthcare Audience,” focuses on shifting gender roles and why it’s important for healthcare marketers to not forget about men. If you’re interested in marketing healthcare to men, we have an entire blog series dedicated to the subject.

Will you be attending either of these conferences? If so, what speaking event are you looking forward to?
